About dogs and pets. And take the pledge of Let Elephants Be Elephants :)

Ever hated dogs or puppies? Or had a phobia of dogs/puppies or other animals?
Why u can deny them, when u know the benefits of having an animal in ur house!

I've seen some Indian guy who lived just around the neighbourhood who walks the puppy everyday. But the puppy is like, screeching like shouting help.I don't know why,but it's really a poor thing to be treated like that!
If u don't know how to take care of it then don't bring them home to torture them!

And even, some irresponsible old man brought his dog to pee at my house's outdoor roadside garden. It's like poop here, poop there, poop everywhere! I was like, can't u bring your dog somewhere else?

And here,I'm gonna talk about how to take care of ur dog and why some of us need a dog/puppy.

First,u need to know.Having a pet can really improve your mood and health.Studies found that :
  • Pet owners are less likely to suffer from depression than those without pets.
  • People with pets have lower blood pressure in stressful situations than those without pets.
  • Playing with a pet can elevate levels of serotonin and dopamine, which calm and relax.
  • Pet owners have lower triglyceride and cholesterol levels (indicators of heart disease) than those without pets.
  • Heart attack patients with pets survive longer than those without.
  • Pet owners over age 65 make 30 percent fewer visits to their doctors than those without pets.
  • While people with dogs often experience the greatest health benefits, a pet doesn’t necessarily have to be a dog or a cat. Even watching fish in an aquarium can help reduce muscle tension and lower pulse rate.
And why they can help you to keep healthy?

  1. Increasing exercise.
  2. Providing companionship.
  3. Helping meet new people.
  4. Reducing anxiety.
  5. Adding structure and routine to your day.
  6. Providing sensory stress relief.
They're also good for your family :)
  • Research at the University of California at Davis School of Veterinary Medicine concluded that Alzheimer's patients suffer less stress and have fewer anxious outbursts if there is a pet in the home.
  • Pets can provide a source of positive, nonverbal communication. The playful interaction and gentle touch from a well-trained, docile animal can help soothe an Alzheimer’s patient and decrease aggressive behaviour.
  • In many cases a patient’s problem behaviour is a reaction to the stressed response of the primary caretaker. Pets can help ease the stress of caregivers. Cats or caged animals may be more suitable than dogs, which generally require more care and can add to the burden of someone who’s already looking after an Alzheimer’s patient.
Also, children, don't worry, choose the right doggie then it won't bite ur child.Like a golden retriever is a good choice. But never choose poodles for ur children. As u know, poodles have much more...how to say... bossy personality? Cause I have 1 female toy poodle. It's very energetic as it won't get tired of running around ur house for hours.

  • Pets can help children with learning disabilities learn how to regulate stress and calm themselves, making them better equipped to overcome the challenges of their disorder.
  • Playing and exercising with a pet can help a child with learning disorders stay alert and attentive throughout the day. It can also be a great antidote to stress and frustration caused by the learning disability.
  • Learning to ride a horse can help elevate the self-esteem of disabled children, putting them on a more equal level with kids without disabilities.
And things u have to think to choose the right doggie according to ur needs?
BTW,every dog like...almost no dogs can smell like flower beds,so if u wanna have a pet.Be sure to consider if u can take care of its poops or wee-wees everytime or not.Yeah..EVERYTIME.
  • Little outdoor activity – If most of your time is spent at home, consider pets that would be happy to stay with you in that environment. You may enjoy playing with or cuddling a cat or a bunny; taking leisurely walks with an older dog; watching fish or reptiles; or talking or singing along with a bird.
  • High activity level – If you’re more active and enjoy daily activities outside of your home, especially walking or running, an energetic dog might be right for you. Canine companions thrive on outdoor exercise, keeping you on the move.
  • Small children and the elderly – Families with small children or elderly living in their homes should consider the size and energy level of a pet. Puppies and kittens are usually very active, but delicate creatures that must be handled with care. Large or rambunctious dogs could accidentally harm or knock over a small child or adult who is unsteady on his or her feet.
  • Other animals in household – Consider the ongoing happiness and ability to adjust of the pets you already have. While your cat or a dog might love to have an animal friend to play with, a pet that has had exclusive access to your attentions may resent sharing you.
  • Home environment – If a neat, tidy home, free of animal hair, occasional muddy footprints and “accidents” is important, then a free-roaming dog or long-haired cat may not be the best choice. You may want to choose pets that are confined to their quarters, such as fish, birds, hamsters, or reptiles.
  • Landscaping concerns – With certain pets, your landscaping will suffer. Many dogs will be tempted to dig holes in your lawn, and dog urine can leave yellow patches—some say unaltered females cause the most damage.
  • Time commitment – Finally, and perhaps most importantly, keep in mind that you’ll be making a commitment that will last the lifetime of the pet—perhaps 10, 15, or 20 years with a dog or cat; as many as 30 years or more with a bird. You can, of course, consider adopting an older dog or cat from a shelter or rescue group and provide a deserving animal with a loving home for its senior years.

Okay, then I'm gonna share some pics abt some breed of puppies.

Pomeranian puppy!!!

And Husky Pomeranian!!!

They both bark like a rubber duckie when they're puppies like the pics, that small. They are also loyal and cuddly! Like real dolls except they're alive, not fake. But of course, they all come in different colours,I've seen white, black and brown poms before. But like,Husky poms are very hard to find.If u're lucky,u could find one near you.

And,golden retrievers!!!

They are extremely smart, that is the perfect dog for everyone! They are loyal to serve and always eager to learn! They are lovable and easily to train! Also,if u are wealthy and willing to spend some cash on it,bring it to a dog training centre to train it! And they can become dogs who can help around people who are disabled or even elders! They are dogs which is very suitable for everyone.Except they'll are bigger,so you need space for it to run. Not asking you to buy a basketball field for ur dogs, but to give it some space.Like a size of ur room to let it run freely.

And next I have Shit Tzu...I mean SHIH TZU!!! SHIH TZU!!! Forget the SHIT Tzu!!!

Shih Tzus will grow and have long, sliky hair.SO u need to groom and trim it to ur desire length of it's fur.Or,u prefer to giving them a makeover by time, you can even braid them ! They called 'lion dogs' cause they used to believed that they chased away demons and stuff. So they were favorites of the Chinese royals and were refused to sell or even trade them!

But every breed of dogs have different life spans,a number of health issues that they will get if u are not cautious.I think each of the breed have different stories and histories behind them.Like the Shih Tzu I mentioned just now!

But in the end, please never go to Vietnam and other places to eat dog meat.Dogs are friendly and loyal. Why we should eat them? I don't even understand why they would eat them! U should click this from google, that is the process of making dog meat.I was dizzy when I heard their screech, like ghost screams...OMG...
Click this,I dare you!

But please, never, like ever eat dog meat. They are poor animals who have strayed because of people dumping them on the streets!

Also, please take a pledge here if you support poachers against killing elephants, this is an interesting event organized by hostess and model Nadya Hutagalung,I love her and elephants too,so I support this event by putting it on my blog:

Like never, ever have or eat or even drink products that are made of endangered species or animals that are harmless to humans!
