Now almosr everyone knowd that I'm,me,model. There are so much questions that were requested by so many people. My classmates, friends...something like that.
I will answer these questions online as newbies or outsiders won't really know.
Q:I wanted to be a model too.How to?
Ans:Ask someone to take 3 shots of u in a bikini to show clients ur natural image.Clients will look at ur headshots, half bod shot and full bod
shot to see if u really suit their requirements. Like, for beauty shot, mostly will see ur headshot first, then half bod.Cause u know, makeup is usually for the face.
Then, create a comp card.Using photoshop or similar softwares. If u are thinking to be sign by an agency. Ur company will do one for u.Then don't forget to include ur headshot,at first, then the others can be ur photoshoot's photos.I recommended to update ur comp card every 5 months or less.If u are a student or busy person(like me),update ur compcard as soon as possible after 5 months.
Q:Do models earn$?
Ans:Of course, but it depends on how much will ur client willing to pay you.Mostly models who were signed to an agency earn less than freelancers because the agency need to earn too,so they will give u the amount u should earn and they will keep the rest although u're doing expensive, popular shots.
But freelancers, also have a major problem. Due to that, they maybe earn more. However, however, if they didn't receive any bookings.Dan,dan dan...no money to spend...
Q:Requirements?
Ans:Mostly.Good skin, posture, hair, body.U maybe shorter,or your fave wouldn't be exotic or babish U can still be one but with more limits.Shorter than 5'7 can do commercial shoots. The rest 5'7/5'8 can do fashion, runways, and so much more. Small chance that u will be one like Kate Moss,The Shortest supermodel.
For me,I wanted to change the world.I was being taught with abusive ways by my father. For now, only after 2 years we all will be in the court.I don't like my mom too. There are too much limitations from both of them.Unlike others, having a lovely family.
I am using my weakness, scars as my feature.Cause that will make me special as a plus sizer.
Q:How to maintain ur model body?
Ans:We no need any diets. We just need to burn more calories that we ate by the day.Exercise, minimum 20-30mins for busy people and if can,do it for more than an hour.
Forget abs, achieve slimmer body first.Cause the modeling industry doesn't let models gaining any weight. If u are too,too skinny. They will ask u to gain some weight.
For gaining weight, doesn't mean that going to McDonalds or KFC and other fast food stores,it's by adding more quantity, and lesser exercise, but not too less.
Q:Anything we must avoid to harm ourselves as models?
Ans:Yes,preventing scams.Loads of scams are hunting almost everyone on this planet Earth.Asking u to go naked to be in their agency, meeting them at a place that it doesn't exist and so much more.Protect urself by rejecting them, say no,and don't be greedy for opportunities. Opportunities will come to u at the right place, the right time,or when u least expected.
Never, meet someone related to so-called agencies. Or show em so-called 'show us ur naked bod to be our model. No,just no.

Modeling Tip #2
Ever wonder why some photographers develop bad photos?
Here are some things that I've realized through my experiences:
1.Poor ideas from the photographer.
There are things that u wanted to take note if u wanna check if ur photographer is really experienced. Observe her thoughts and ideas. Some photographers rather picking a RIGHT way,or makeup artists choosing the RIGHT makeup for ur shoot that they think it suits u,without asking u is this "what u want".
This lead us to know that THAT photographer has less experience.
My experience is bought a photoshoot package, wanting a high fashion and a heavy(Smokey) makeup,I also chose the gown for a high fashion shoot. But what I got,is red themed makeup that goes with my champagne gown.I looked like a drug queen, seriously. But the photos turned out to be printed on photopaper, but not with the glossy surface.
Thank god, there is 1,only 1 photo that I can accept to update my portfolio/compcard.The rest of the photos were, damn, ugly.I respect my photographer, makeup artists. But what I don't like is their ideas of "High Fashion"shoots.
(P.S.Never get any cheap packages〔Unless u know the person's taste well〕for ur photoshoots)
If u wanted to save $ for ur shoots,u can learn how to do makeup(Bridal,Punk,Creative,Contour etc) for urself. If u're good,u can even make apparels for ur shoots. That will save ya LOTS.
OR,manage a TPF with a photographer.What is a TPF?A TPF is...click here
2.Next,ur poses.
U can either observe other model's pose if u wanted to play safe.If u dare, and what I always do,make poses that no one ever use before.
Like Tyra Bank's Smize,Tooch etc..
Always check the environment of ur photoshoot place/theme to do the right pose.Never ever do poses like,u're shooting for bridal thingys, but u posed for street style.NO!
Always, check ur outfit,ur makeup, the concept and the lighting for ur shoot. Then pose with the right expression to have great photos.
3.Never ever insult ur makeup artists, stylist photographers..
Very common, very dangerous too. Some people that u insult will reflect em on u.Same as,if u insult ur team,ur team will give ya bad image for ur shoots.
Newspapers has a lot of these.Ex insulted her ex-girlfriend hairdresser. Then he ended with a bald head after his cut from his ex.Which he asked for trimming only.
Never ever do this, and be thankfulcause u're sitting while ur team is standing to mke the right decisions for u.
4.Expression.
One more bonus for y'all, never smile too much for ur shoots. If u're a newbie for modeling, always know that sometimes smiling is just faking to make ur photos to look better.Cause mostly clients would like to look at ur proper,without-smiley face to decide if they wanted to book u or not. Cause mostly they like natural face expressions than smileys.
Like u see the models on magazines, don't always smile.
Any of ya made mistakes listed above?
Would like to hear more from ya guys.

Modeling tips
I am not a pro yet.But I have seen so much in the industry alr yet I don't have a lot of experience. I survey a lot of modeling things through the internet, and it's all so wrong.
I decided to post things about modeling.I am gonna post one of it right here, right now before I go to bed. Most common mistake ever.DUCK FACE.(pic below)
I decided to post things about modeling.I am gonna post one of it right here, right now before I go to bed. Most common mistake ever.DUCK FACE.(pic below)
It's a cute pose in the late 70's or 80's.But this face,is not for modeling.Ever heard of Leila from ANTM?The model who is super super gorgeous? There's one episode that she was kicked out of the competition, why?Because she did the duck face. The pic is below.
By avoiding this mistake, gain ur confidence. It's true that if u're terrified u'll do this during taking selfies of urself without any notice,or worse, for ur photoshoot for pageants or modeling contests.
Ways to avoid:
1.Conquer ur fear
2.Confidence, confidence, confidence. Work,work,work!
3.Practice daily.
Okay, maybe not daily but mostly, usually, everyday. Ask ur boyfriend or anyone who dares to throw ya in the air and take a pic of urself to check that if u are improving.OR,u can simply use a huge mirror and just take pics of urself when u jump. There are so many ways to practice to avoid this.
Saw a guy who really lives modeling, his idol was Jodilly from ANsTM cycle2,but he took a photo of him with a sarong around his waist and jump.Ola duck face!
Yup,Jodilly did that too,but modeling industries doesn't like this.If worse, they'll kick ya out immediately.
So work it!Stay tune for more!
